Loss of ability, for whatever reason, can be devastating.  It is important to know that services are available,  close to home, to assist with recovery.  The ACMH Hospital Rehabilitation Department provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services including Physical Therapy (regaining strength & flexibility), Occupational Therapy (regaining daily living skills), Speech Therapy (regaining communications skills) and hand, aquatic and sports injury therapies.  The department also offers a CustomFit Program, which includes a wellness/fitness assessment by a healthcare professional, a body fat analysis and a "personalized" strength & conditioning plan designed for individual goals and needs.  After a workout in the department's special exercise area, you might enjoy and benefit from the hospital's Massage Therapy Program.

ACMH Hospital also features one of the few in-hospital therapy pools in the region.  Its warm waters facilitate rehabilitation and enhance therapy, and is particularly popular with arthritis patients.

Rehabilitation services are also offered at our Primary Care Center in Leechburg.  Ford City area residents may receive physical therapy treatment at the Ford City Health Pavilion (FCHP).
