Neurosurgery is the medical specialty concerned with the diagnosis and treatment of injuries or disorders to the peripheral nerves (nerves leading to the hands or feet), brain, or spinal cord.
At Western Pennsylvania Neurosurgical Associates (WPNA), Dr. Curt Conry and his medical staff combine skill and experience in diagnosing and developing treatment plans for patients suffering from neurological problems. This team of medical professionals is committed to delivering the area’s most compassionate, comprehensive, and up to date care to their patients.
Some common neurosurgical procedures include, but are not limited to, lumbar discectomy and lumbar fusion, cervical discectomy with and without fusion, spinal and cerebral oncology management, congenital deformity correction, hydrocephalus management, chronic pain procedures, spinal reconstructive surgery, and nerve entrapment syndromes such as carpal tunnel. The medical team at WPNA is qualified to handle these and many other neurosurgical procedures.

Curt P. Conry, M.D., a board certified neurosurgeon, has joined ACMH Hospital under the practice name of Western Pennsylvania Neurosurgical Associates. Dr. Conry, a nine-year resident of Western Pennsylvania, specialized in neurosurgery in the Pittsburgh region for the past several years before relocating to the Kittanning area. A graduate of Case Western Reserve University Medical School, Dr. Conry completed his internship, residency, and neurosurgical training and fellowship at Allegheny General Hospital. Dr. Conry provides the most up-to-date treatment options using state-of-the-art technology to all his patients. He is a member in good standing of the Pennsylvania Medical Society, the Allegheny Medical Society, and the American Association of Neurological Surgeons. Dr. Conry will be working closely with the ACMH Hospital's medical community to bring the best neurosurgical care and comprehensive pain management to the ACMH Hospital clientele.

Glenn C. Kresak,
Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C),
has been working with Dr. Conry since 2005.
Glenn has extensive experience in the medical field, including a variety of
specialties. His medical career has been garnered with multiple achievements,
certifications, and professional memberships. His clinical experience has been
in various areas including Emergency, Internal Medicine, General Surgery, Family
Medicine, Women’s Health, and Behavioral Medicine, all increasing his knowledge
to effectively handle various cases. Glenn is certified as an American Heart
Association ACLS and BLS provider and is a member in good standing of the
American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Pennsylvania Society of
Physician Assistants.

Linda McCollough, RN, BSN, has been working at ACMH Hospital for the past 25 years where her wide range of experiences have contributed to her excellent knowledge and skill base. Linda has worked as a registered nurse on the hospital med/surg unit, in the Emergency room and in the Recovery Room (PAC-U). Linda has also worked in private physician offices of various disciplines where her responsibilities have included nursing duties, as well as coordinating multiple other functions necessary to the smooth operation of the practice. Linda, throughout her career, has maintained compassion for the patients she serves and is able to use her extensive knowledge of the hospital operations to guide the patients through the system.

In order to assist us in focusing on your medical care, please provide the following information at your first office visit:
1. Please complete the medical history forms, which can be found on this webpage, and bring the completed forms with you.
2. Any pertinent medical records, including any referring physician office records, and MRI/ CT/ X-Ray reports.
3. If your MRI /CT/X-Ray was not done at ACMH Hospital, please bring the films with you.
4. Insurance referral if applicable, including insurance cards and/or disability claim form.
Financial Policy:
Co-payments for office visits are your financial responsibility. Payment is expected at the time of each visit unless otherwise arranged.
Cancellation Policy:
If you are unable to keep your appointment, please notify us no less than 24 hours prior to your appointment. Short notifications limit our ability to accommodate the needs of others.
