ACMH Nurse Recruitment/Frequently Asked Questions

 

How long will it be until I hear from the Nurse Recruitment Department once I send in my application?

If you are applying for a position that is open and currently being recruited for, you will hear from the Nurse Recruiter within one week of submitting a resume/application. 

  Once my application is received, how is it processed?

Your application will be sent to the nurse manager for the position that you have applied for.  Once it is reviewed, a decision is made regarding interview.  You will be contacted by the nurse recruiter or administrative assistant to arrange an interview, if a request is made.

Can I call the Nurse Recruiter to check on the status of my application?

Absolutely.  You may call and check anytime. 

If I am not considered for the position, how long does my resume stay on file

60 days

Does ACMH hire graduate nurses?

Yes, with the understanding that you will take the state board exam with in the first 3 months of hire.

If I accept a nursing position at ACMH, what happens next?

You will be scheduled to complete general hospital orientation as well as nursing classroom orientation.  Nursing classroom orientation is held monthly and generally lasts a full week. However, classroom orientation can be tailored to your specific learning needs if you are an experienced nurse.  Unit-based orientation will follow.  The length of time spent on orientation will vary according to the specialty area and your level of experience.
